Unfortunately, disaster tourism has begun in Nepal. Hordes of tourists are pouring in to see the wreckage, many armed with expensive photography and videography equipment. They seem to care nothing about the plight of the locals and instead are focusing only on the visual carnage. For those who actually care about the situation in Nepal or want to help, I just wrote a post about the post-quake progress here in Kathmandu and what you can do to help on my blog.
