Tonight I leave for Vietnam so today I feasted on lots of traditional Filipino food made by a master chef in Manila. My lunch included lumpiang sotanghon (spring rolls), bicol express (chili peppers, pork, coconut cream), adobo flakes, dinakdak na lechon (pork belly and veggies), and fiesta rice topped with chorizo, eggs, smoked fish, and veggies. In fact it was so much food I couldn’t fit it all in this photo — but I did fit it all in my belly hehehe :) Oh and of course a few San Miguel beers also accompanied the meal because let’s be honest, no true Filipino meal is complete without at least one San Miguel Pilsen ;)
